In a feature story published in today's The New York Times Arts section, Robert Ito profiles The New Yorker art editor Françoise Mouly's Toon Graphics, a new imprint of Mouly's independent publishing house, Raw Junior.
Graphic novels are getting another dose of political greatness in the form of John Lewis’s MARCH: Book 2, scheduled for release in early 2015. For those not up to speed on their politics or history, Lewis is the last surviving member of the “Big Six” leaders of the American Civil Rights Movement --- the most famous, of course, being Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
