Here's a very cool event coming up. If you're in the New York area, it's definitely worth checking out. The Society of Illustrators (128 East 63rd Street) is giving comics fans a unique opportunity to watch the creative process unfold in the hands of some massively talented people, including Louise Simonson, Walt Simonson, Bob Wiacek, Chris Sotomayor, and John Workman. The entire day, called Comics Out Loud, will be curated by Danny Fingeroth. Watching a writer, penciler, inker, colorist, and letterer perform their respective crafts live and in person is a great way to get a behind-the-scenes look into this wonderful world of comics.
