Janet Weber, MLIS, a youth services librarian for the Tigard Public Library, has announced a new online course for children's librarians in public libraries and schools and others. The course is called Introduction to Graphic Novels for Children and its stated directive is to help participants "be able to assist children, parents and teachers in selecting reading material that is appropriate for students who are developing reading skills."
