Another New York Event

Sorry if this blog sometimes seems New York-centric. It's definitely not the intention, and if other events around the country are happening, feel free to let me know and I'll do my best to share it with our readers. But in the meantime, here's something exciting for those on the East Coast: a party marking the release of the English-language version of the graphic novel Poem Strip by Dino Buzzati, a retelling of the mythical story of Orpheus and Eurydice. This is the first graphic novel ever from the New York Review of Books, and the translator of the book, Marina Harss, will be in attendance. It's taking place this Tuesday, October 6th, at Idlewild Books in Manhattan at 12 West 19th Street (between 5th and 6th). The reception will include food and wine. If you're around: Check it out!
