The Green Hornet Returns
Dynamite Entertainment has announced not only that they will be bringing the Green Hornet back to comics, but also that they have a great lineup of talent ready to do it. Director Kevin Smith (a longtime comics fan) is set to write it (nice job there), and the artists look amazing too: Alex Ross, John Cassaday, and David Finch.
This is pure pulp nostalgia for me, and I suspect the same can be said of the talented people who have gathered to bring it back to life. Here's hoping it will begin a trend of bringing back old pulp favorites and updating them faithfully for a new generation, bring on Doc Savage, The Shadow, and Buck Rogers.
