Michael L. Printz was a children’s librarian from Topeka, Kansas, who is recognized now with a yearly award for children’s literature in his name. The award comes from the American Library Association, and is sponsored by its magazine Booklist, as well as the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA). The following graphic novel was awarded the Printz in 2007.
