Spidey Sings
The Spider-Man musical continues to swing closer to debuting on Broadway. Seriously? Yes, it's for real. In fact, there's even some (possible) casting news: Alan Cumming is being mentioned as being considered for the Green Goblin role. Cumming has great musical and acting chops, so that would be suitable, but a Spider-Man musical? They're really not kidding about this?
Apparently, they're not kidding, because they've even got U2's Bono and The Edge to work on the music and lyrics for Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, which will premiere in February of next year. Check out our video page to see the two rockers talk about the tunes and the similarities between their lives and superheroes'. And that makes me again say: Seriously?
We really are living in comic-book times. It'll be interesting to see how this really plays out. But till then, let the official website whet your appetite.
