YALSA Unveils Its Graphic Nominees
The Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) once a year selects its list of Great Graphic Novels for Teens, and 2010 will be no different. First, though, we get the list of nominees, a vast ranking that includes some of the most lauded titles of the year. In all, well over a hundred books have earned the distinction of being a nominee (you can see the full list here), including some of the usual suspects (Stitches, A.D., The Photographer) and some lesser-known books well deserving of attention (The Vietnam War, The Big Kahn, and The Nobody, to name but a few). Good luck to all the nominees! The list of nominees will be updated one last time in early December, and then the final selection list will be posted in late January.
